It was almost impossible to sleep on the crowded bus from Panama City, so I was really tired at 6 am when we arrived in the province of Bocas del Toro. We took a taxi for a few minutes and then had to wait for a speedboat to take us to the Island Colón.
Got a private room at Heike hostel in the middle of the city together with Oliver and Winfried. We paid 11 dollars each, and got a room without aircon. Note to self: Need to get a room with aircon! At least I got the big bed! Slept for like 4 hours until 3 pm.

The hostel offers free pancakes for breakfast, but you have to make them yourself (?) I got the attitude "I will not cook my own food while travelling", so I had to convince Oliver to make them for me.
Worked like a charm!

The next morning our 2 canadian friends came to the Island, it was SO good seeing them again after being apart for 1,5 days. Haha. This is what Jonathan looked like when he arrived. This is what happens if you forget sunscreen in this country. This picture gives me motivation to apply generously with sunscreen every day!
Homemade food and drinks at the hostel <3
Went out dancing - alone. I'm so afraid of loosing my phone, so I don't usually bring it out in the evenings = hard to find people if you loose them. Lucky me of course found some fun people from the hostel to hang out with. Danced for hours and I had such a great time. Something tells me it will be a lot of partying while I'm on this island...
